Description

The ADOS GreenStik Contact Adhesive is a high performance adhesive formulated for general use. It instantly forms a durable strong bond without having to apply pressure over an extended period of time – ideal where clamping is not desirable such as large surfaces areas, bonding of veneers, laminated plastics on benchtops, vinyl repairs, delicate materials, etc.

It dries to a colourless clear flexible film that can be sanded and painted and will not stain. Water resistant and designed for temperatures up to 65°C, it is suitable for interior and general exterior use.

It is an environmentally and user friendly adhesive exhibiting the benefits of a water based formulation without compromising on quality and strength.

ADOS GreenStik Contact Adhesive Applications:

  • Formulated for areas where clamping or pressing facilities are not available or awkward to use and for large surface areas. Delicate materials that would be damaged by applying pressure.
  • Bonding veneers of timber on flat areas or contured surfaces, laminated plastics (bench laminates) on bench or table tops. Assembling countertops, building panels, furniture.
  • Gluing polystyrene foam, plastics, PVC mouldings, hardboard, sheet metals, butyl and neoprene rubbers, felt, vinyl, acoustic tiles, leather, etc., to most building materials.
  • Laying vinyl or cork tiles, flooring repairs. Vinyl wall coverings.
  • Not suitable for permanent immersion in water.
  • Suitable for bonding the following materials: Polystyrene foam, timber, veneers, fabric, vinyl, bench laminates (Laminex, Formica), fibre cement sheets, butyl and neoprene rubbers, hardboard, canvas, felt, leather, upholstery, cork, MDF, metals, most plastics
