Drills, Taps and Dies Ltd (Tradezone Hornby DTD), is proudly independently owned and operated since 1996, supplying general engineering industries, mechanical engineers and workshops right through to the home handyman. We stock New Zealand’s largest range of Taps and Dies, as well as cutting tools, abrasives, lubricants, and much more. We also supply a range of other stock including hand tools, air tools, Power Tools, Fasteners and measuring equipment.

In 2022 DTD were excited to become a member of the Tradezone Group, and now Trades as Tradezone Hornby. This enables us access to major Brands and Suppliers at great prices that we can share with our Customers.

Tradezone Hornby prides itself on fast supply and top service, which is why we are one of New Zealand’s largest stockists of engineering supplies & consumables.

With over 20,000 product lines carried in stock, we can fill our orders and get them on the road quickly, which means you have less operational downtime when things go wrong.

Tradezone Hornby has overseas manufacturers who will produce products to our specifications, and we are happy to source and supply goods for customers.
